Tudo terá começado num clube de Bristol, o Dug Out, onde amigos e Dj’s se encontravam. Bristol sempre foi uma cidade musicalmente activa, e basta recordar os fantásticos Pop Group, cuja desintegração gerou da mais bela pop no domínio do pós-punk, como os Pig Bag, Rip Rig & Panic ou Maximun Joy. Quanto a Martina, aliás, Martine como a conhecemos em 1994, era um anjo que acompanhava os estilhaços em órbita criativa de Tricky, em nome próprio, uma vez que já o tínhamos ouvido nos dois primeiros álbuns dos Massive Attack.  E agora, será que o mundo de Martina estará assim tão longe do inicial, mesmo quando a sua tradução se faz através de um ambiente desprovido de efeitos especiais, tornando-se numa deliciosa aguarela cheia de personalidade?
